The excursions we offer are specially designed to fit in your treatment program and will in no way interfere with cure procedures. Those excursions are optional and can be booked upon request in advance, after or anytime during the treatment period.
Sivas and Divrigi
Sivas is a province in Eastern Anatolia situated in the northern of the Yukari Kizilirmak valley. During the Hittite period (2000 B.C.), Sivas was an important settlement and later a cradle of the Sivas Frig Empire (1200 B.C.). In Lydian times the famous Royal Road passed through this great city. Sivas was served as the capital of the Seljuk Empire and was the centre of one of the most advanced civilizations of the times being called Darulala or exalted City.
Divrigi is a town and a district of Sivas Province of Turkey a home to the most important works of architecture in Anatolia - Divriği Great Mosque and the adjoining Medical Center (Darussifa), built simultaneously with the mosque by Turan Melek Sultan, daughter of the Mengücek ruler of Erzincan, Fahreddin Behram Shah, both included on UNESCO's World Heritage List by virtue of their exquisite carvings and architecture.
